Can’t Forget About Daddy

Ladies, I don’t know about you, but my husband wanted to have some special daddy gear for baby.  I can understand that.  Not only do he and I have completely different taste, but he also wants to feel special when he is out and about with our baby.

Before my sister threw my baby shower, I wanted to do something a little special for my husband.  Coincidentally, my baby shower was close to Father’s Day, and while he wasn’t an actual ‘dad’ yet, I wanted to surprise him with a gift at my shower.  I researched and read a TON of reviews.  I ended up finding an awesome merchant called Tactical Dad.  They have all sorts of ‘daddy’ products.  I wanted to get my husband his own diaper bag, so that is what I bought.  Here is the bag I bought him – Khaki Dad on Diaper Duty Backpack w/Badges.  One of the great things about this bag is that it makes daddies feel good when they sport it.  To them, it doesn’t feel like they are carrying a ‘diaper bag’.  It has a ton of pockets for all sorts of stuff (baby related or not, or both).  My husband said he likes it because once he grows out of the need for it to be used for the baby, he can use it for himself (camping, trips, etc…).

When my sister-in-law threw us her baby shower, one of my husband’s closest friends and his wife surprised him with a matching baby carrier.  They had no idea I had gotten him that diaper bag (one of those super cool coincidences).  The baby carrier isn’t through Tactical Dad, but it sure does match it well.  My husband loves his baby carrier.  He likes to wear it when he is on ‘baby watching duty’ and he wants to play his computer games at the same time (I am not joking).  You can find it here on Amazon.  Our daughter actually loves it too.  We’ve taken her to the Farmer’s Market in it.  We’ve taken her grocery shopping in it. We’ve taken her to parties in it.  We’ve taken her to a fall festival in it. The state fair. The list goes on and on.  It’s been great to have for me, but especially my husband.  My husband, bought a pacifier clip and attached it to his baby carrier.  This way, Leia will always have access to her pacifier without it getting lost (one point for dad).  Who is winning?  Dad is winning!
